Shivangi is a Program Manager at the Center for Psychiatric Health and Genomics. She brings over five years of research experience in diverse clinical, developmental, social and neuroscience labs. She holds a dual B.A. in Psychology and Global Management from Rutgers University, and a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. Shivangi is passionate about unraveling the intricate relationship between the epigenetic processes occurring within our genetic makeup and the development, progression, and treatment of various psychiatric disorders. Beyond her professional role, Shivangi leads a refugee literacy program serving refugee families in New Jersey and is dedicated to bringing a positive change in underserved and marginalized communities. In her free time, you’ll find her expressing her love for life through dance, immersing herself in psychological thriller books, communing with nature, and volunteering at the refugee literacy program.
