Lou is a Primary Interviewer at the Center for Psychiatric Health and Genomics. Prior to joining the CPHG, Lou worked as an allied health professional for over five years providing crisis intervention, clinical mental health evaluation and assessment, and supportive counseling services in various settings. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, with a Minor in Criminal Justice and a M.A. in Clinical Psychology, with a Concentration in Forensic Psychology from Montclair State University. Beyond her role with the CPHG, Lou remains a practicing Mental Health Screener serving populations experiencing mental health crises and psychiatric emergencies in the state of New Jersey. Lou is passionate about advocacy, social equity, and holistic wellness. In Lou’s free time, she enjoys blogging, traveling, and practicing yoga.
